Gaëtan Bidaud
Gaëtan Bidaud is the Head of Finance & Operations at the Simon Institute for Longterm Governance (SI), where he oversees the organization’s financial, legal, and operational functions.
Before joining SI, Gaëtan served as a Finance & Program Manager at Plan International, held finance and program management roles at the peace and human rights organization Eirene Suisse, worked as an Economic Adviser to non-profits in Uganda, and taught mathematics, economics, and law at various Swiss high schools. He also serves as Finance Manager at Omoana, a Swiss NGO supporting youth development in Uganda and Iraq, and founded Zodongo Suisse to support local organizations in Uganda and Peru.
Gaëtan holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Economy and a master’s degree in Public Economics and Public Finance, both from the University of Fribourg, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Global Cooperation and Sustainable Development from ETH Zürich.
