{"id":1254,"date":"2025-08-06T08:15:46","date_gmt":"2025-08-06T08:15:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/simoninstitute.ch\/?post_type=member&#038;p=1254"},"modified":"2025-10-20T13:30:15","modified_gmt":"2025-10-20T13:30:15","slug":"gaetan-bidaud","status":"publish","type":"member","link":"https:\/\/simoninstitute.ch\/about\/member\/gaetan-bidaud","title":{"rendered":"Ga\u00ebtan Bidaud"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ga\u00ebtan Bidaud is the Head of Finance &amp; Operations at the Simon Institute for Longterm Governance (SI), where he oversees the organization\u2019s financial, legal, and operational functions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Before joining SI, Ga\u00ebtan served as a Finance &amp; Program Manager at Plan International, held finance and program management roles at the peace and human rights organization Eirene Suisse, worked as an Economic Adviser to non-profits in Uganda, and taught mathematics, economics, and law at various Swiss high schools. He also serves as Finance Manager at Omoana, a Swiss NGO supporting youth development in Uganda and Iraq, and founded Zodongo Suisse to support local organizations in Uganda and Peru.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ga\u00ebtan holds a bachelor&#8217;s degree in Political Economy and a master&#8217;s degree in Public Economics and Public Finance, both from the University of Fribourg, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Global Cooperation and Sustainable Development from ETH Z\u00fcrich.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","member_team":[31],"class_list":["post-1254","member","type-member","status-publish","hentry","member_team-core"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/simoninstitute.ch\/api\/wp\/v2\/member\/1254","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/simoninstitute.ch\/api\/wp\/v2\/member"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/simoninstitute.ch\/api\/wp\/v2\/types\/member"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/simoninstitute.ch\/api\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1254"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"member_team","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/simoninstitute.ch\/api\/wp\/v2\/member_team?post=1254"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
