Event description

How can the global scientific community help shape AI that is safe, secure, and trustworthy? Bringing together leading scientists, policymakers, and international organizations, we’ll explore how evidence-based research can strengthen AI governance, bridge global and regional perspectives, and identify practical opportunities for international collaboration.

Questions under discussion

  • Is a shared understanding emerging on AI safety opportunities, risks and impacts?
  • What are priority policy issues and critical research gaps for scientists, governments, industry, and civil society in different parts of the world?
  • What’s the scope for common ground and practical collaboration, and what might an interoperable AI safety and governance agenda look like?
  • How can the Global Dialogue help expand the interface between AI policy and scientific communities? What practical priorities can be pursued between the first and second Global Dialogue (May 2027)?
